Italian Wine
Italian wine is famous the world over for its high quality and immense variety. From Chianti and Barolo to Soave and Pinot Grigio to Prosecco, there’s something to please all wine lovers.
Vines are grown all over Italy, but some of the most important regions include Tuscany, where Sangiovese and Vermentino are the dominant grapes, and Veneto where you’ll find Amarone, Soave and Prosecco.
Along with food, wine is a major part of life in Italy and many of its wines are incredibly food friendly. You would be hard pressed to find a better wine for spaghetti Bolognese than a good glass of classic Chianti!
