Pomerol, located in Bordeaux, is a name synonymous with quality and is renowned for its prestigious red wines. This classy example is crafted largely from Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc and has a generous fruit profile with well-defined tannins. Sip and you'll discover a wine with a lovely structure which is built around dark fruit character. Black cherry and blackcurrant mingle with fresh mint and sweet spice and lead onto a long finish which is framed with tightly woven tannins. Great with a roasted leg of lamb and crispy rosemary infused potatoes.
