As part of our new partnership with the local art university - NUA - illustrator Sophie de Fazio presented her label artwork that depicts the family home in Puglia, Italy where she grew up. It was no surprise to us that her illustration radiated with warmth and rusticity, characteristics that wines from this region share. So, we sourced a rich, ripe and fruit-laden Primitivo from Puglia that does exactly that to bring this concept fully to life, in a form that encourages social gatherings and sharing, much like life at Sophie's family home.

Benedetto Lorusso
Although humble and unassuming, Benedetto has had a monumental impact on winemaking in Puglia. His career spans four decades and, with unrivalled winemaking experience, he now imparts his enology expertise from an advisory position. But with family connections, Tagaro is where his heart really lies.
