Heather Nenow's winemaking journey began with a thirst for knowledge and adventure, leading her to the vineyards of Italy and Chile, where she refined her expertise in winemaking and vineyard management. Returning to California, she crafted wines for the iconic E. & J. Gallo, establishing herself in the industry. Heather's passion for both winemaking and exploration inspired her to work as a consultant, balancing travel with her deep connection to Californian wine. In 2022, she joined the LangeTwins Family Winery team, collaborating with renowned winemaker David Akiyoshi, where her adventurous spirit and expertise continue to shape exceptional wines.
"We took a leap of faith by planting Albariño vines after our initial trials showed such promise, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The vines have thrived in our terroir, producing an incredibly aromatic white that is delightful to sip. Our grapes are hand-harvested in the cool early morning, allowing us to preserve their freshness before they go straight to press. Fermenting at a carefully controlled temperature of 55-58°F, we select specific yeasts to amplify the beautiful, vibrant aromas, ensuring every glass captures the essence of Clarksburg." - Heather Nenow, Winemaker.
