The Wine The Wine
France
Region:Provence - Côtes de Provence
A classic pale pink Provence rosé that is expertly blended using a core of the key local grape varieties that focus predominately on Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) from old vines grown in the La Motte area. A rosé with wonderful purity that has plenty of red fruit character, delicate floral notes and just a little touch of citrus freshness. The profile is dry with any sweetness coming through with a natural feel and there's a generosity and roundness that fills the mouth before the crisp moreish finish takes over. Serve nice and cold so that it shows at its best.

He grew up in the wine business, getting wonderful guidance from his father, Patrick Léon, who served as Château d'Esclans' founding Consulting Oenologist. Today he is Technical Director at Château d'Esclans and runs his family property, Château Les Trois Croix.
"A great rosé wine characterized by bright fruit and roundness. The mouthfeel is extremely smooth, with very good density and a well-balanced structure, which provides depth on the palate and leads onto a finish that is layered with ripe fruit." - Bertrand Leon, Winemaker.
