The grapes, a combination of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, have been carefully selected from the estate's vineyards to craft this vibrant and classic Loire Valley rosé. The precise timing of when to harvest provides the best possible expression of the terroir and the grape varieties. The result is a wonderful Rosé d'Anjou wine that will provide enjoyable drinking all year round.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
David Grellier
David Grellier decided he’d seek a career in wine the moment he tasted a glass of Coteaux du Layon in March 1991 in a classic wine cellar in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, south of Angers. He was 18 years old at a time when parents were putting pressure on their children for "orientation", and his mind was set - he too would be a winegrower. He's now in charge of the domaine and has been since 2015.
"We look to make a classic rosé here at the estate where we balance crisp red berry fruits with natural sweetness and a finish that is balanced with excellent freshness." - David Grellier, Winemaker.
