Our Brio Famoso is yet another wine wonder from Italy. With over 600 native grape varieties, there is always something new to find when travelling through this food heaven. However, like many, Famoso has been facing extinction until a very recent resurgence in popularity. Its immense natural freshness is countered by a mouth-filling texture, both of which combine to make for a great partner to spicy Asian food, particularly those with a coconut or cream sauce.

Focusing on vinifying by grape variety, and to extract the purest varietal expression, this gives us a huge palette of wines to play with when it comes to building our own wines. The winery's network of small local growers is vast and so, in any given vintage, there are many small-batch wines available to us, all hand-crafted and benefitting from the immense winemaking expertise of Ivano.
