A fine example of Barbaresco, displaying the classic and elegant floral aromatics with subtle earthy notes and firm but friendly tannins. The softness of the colour extraction makes for a supremely elegant wine but with real presence on the palate. Pour a glass of this to go with steak. It's a cliché food pairing but for good reason! The natural acidity and tannins are the perfect match for a seared, fatty meat.

The winemaking at Albino Rocca is a family affair since the passing of third-generation Angelo in 2012. But Angelo's father's (Albino) legacy lives strong in the family, where terroir expression and working in a way that protects the local environment are the essence of this grower.
