A youthful but raring-to-go red from South Africa's trendy Swartland region, with the freshest red and black fruit, leaping and lively - think black cherries laced with soft almonds. On the palate, there's even more of that triumphant, upbeat, summery splendour. From cherries to mulberries, this red is alive with firm fruitiness and if you summon a little patience, it will soften and evolve over the next few months.

Alecia Boshoff
Alecia started her career as assistant winemaker after completing her BSc (Agric) Viticulture and Oenology degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002. She gained valuable international winemaking skills during harvests in Australia, France and the USA, before returning to South Africa. Her passion for Swartland (she is a born-and-bred Swartlander) can be seen in her dedication to the terroir and wines from this region.
