When you think of Bordeaux you probably think of their age-worthy and mighty reds, but they also produce some really satisfying and uplifting white wines. And this Bordeaux Blanc, made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc at a sustainably certified co-operative, is just joyous! It reveals powerful aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and white blossom on the nose. In the mouth it has a lovely liveliness, where the green fruits mingle playfully with fresh citrus.

Caves de Rauzan
Responsible for 3,500 hectares of vineyards, 350 winemakers and 45 employees of its own, it is no mean feat that Bordeaux co-operative Caves de Rauzan has been cited as one of the very few French companies to be AFNOR certified as having an “exemplary” standard of corporate social responsibility. In fact, 75% of its vineyards have been awarded HVE 3 certification and all of the vineyards are certified Agriconfiance. Caves de Rauzan encourages and trains its members in organic and eco-responsible viticulture and supports young farmers in the region. The cellar recovers and recycles 99% of its waste, and it has also created wastewater treatment plants on each of its three sites.
