The Wine The Wine
France
Region:Vin De France
We wanted to create a French wine brand, using a label design that avoided the traditional cues you might expect - grandiose chateaux, gold and silver crests and of course medieval font type - were all banned! Our design team worked with a blank canvas (une toile vierge) and this colourful paint brush image captured what our buyer had in mind perfectly. A crisp and refreshing white wine with excellent intensity. Notes of white grapefruit and floral hints mingle before a tangy, mouth-watering finish. Crafted exclusively from Rolle in an engaging and modern style.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Florian Masson
Florian Masson set off for New Zealand after graduating from the University of Dijon where he began honing his winemaking skills. A quick stint in California followed before he returned to France and took up a winemaking role with Caves Richemer. For the past 9 years he has used all his knowledge to continue developing the reputation of Caves Richemer and was heavily involved in the creation of their new vinification set-up to get the best results from all the parcels of grapes they receive at harvest time.
"I always look to harvest when the grapes have obtained as much fruit character as possible, but still have natural freshness. A wine with lots of white grapefruit, floral notes, and excellent intensity." - Florian Masson, Winemaker.
