The Lergenmüller family is known for their Burgundian style Pinot Noir, and this is a superb example. It shows bright, crisp, red fruit flavours of strawberry and redcurrant. There is a roundness on the palate, but the acidity keeps it fresh and mouth-watering. The finish is fruit-driven and has good length which is an indicator of quality. To get a Pinot Noir of this calibre from Burgundy itself you would have to shell out a lot more, making this wine great value for money.
The Winemaker The Winemaker

Jürgen Lergenmüller is the latest generation of his family to make wine at their family estate, which was established in 1538. They are known as a specialist for bold, internationally competitive red wines and elegant Burgundian style wines. "Fine Burgundian style Pinot Noir with a complex bouquet of wild berries and roses. It is full-bodied with gentle tannins and a hint of vanilla and wild spice." - Jürgen Lergenmüller, Winemaker.
