The label was inspired by two skateboards that the team at the Fuse Winery have in the office down at the winery, depicting two iconic basketballers Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, who had a magnificent rivalry in the b-ball court from the late seventies through the 80s. I guess that's where the rivalry ends when it comes to the actual wine, as it is nice and harmonious and very mellow. It was made inhouse at the winery using a parcel of perfectly ripe Shiraz grapes from a plot of vines in Padthaway, with a little barrel component to complete the structure.
