In Paarl this iconic grape is normally blended with other varieties such as Merlot. But here Ryno Booysen, the winemaker of this delicious red, has decided to let Cabernet Sauvignon flourish on its own. Paarl's mountainous terrain is punctuated by hot summers and cool nights, allowing Cabernet to thrive and develop classy notes of cassis and blackcurrant leaf. Ryno has worked his magic to maintain these luscious flavours whilst also adding a touch of class, giving the wine a very natural feel with subtle hints of oak.
