This wine is made from hand harvested grapes from vines in and around the beautiful town of Isla di Maipo. It is an area with near perfect conditions for viticulture - long sunny days thorough ripening and just enough rainfall. Winemaker Hernan de la Barra has created a wine with ripe and bright blackcurrant and bramble fruit and minty notes on a slick and velvety palate. It's easy to see why Carménère has become the flagship grape of Chile.
