The Oak 15 Chardonnay is a pretty unassuming wine compared to your average Meursault Grand Cru, but don't be fooled - this wine has got some serious pedigree. From an award-winning outfit headed by Antoine Depoizier, this is a no-expense-spared Chardonnay from the south of France that easily gives Burgundies a run for their money. It has a beautifully ripe nose with notes of baked pear, melon and vanilla. The palate is expansive and rich with a swathe of oak spice and generous fruits of citrus, pear, some tropical notes and gunflint.
