Steve is always telling us that he knows a couple of guys with some top notch Chardonnay vines down in the Limestone Coast which he could make into a superb wine. So we gave him carte blanche, and he came back with this Black Flag wine. It is a classic, old school Australian Chardonnay: open and generous in profile, with a really good lick of French oak and the vanilla and almond nougat flavours that come with it.
