As well as heralding from a top Châteauneuf producer, this wine is created from three iconic Châteauneuf grape varieties - Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah - with the addition of Carignan. They are grown on the slopes of Mont Ventoux (which you may have seen if you've ever tuned into the Tour de France). The altitude creates good acidity levels within the grapes, so the wine is therefore fresh, fruity and well balanced.
