This lovely Meursault is a blend of five parcels (Lieu Dit) that all bring their individual character to the finished wine. Les Narvaux, with a south-east exposure, is on stony soil, located on hard rock subsoil. This plot produces intensely mineral wines. Les Clous, located on shallow marl, produces delicate and elegant wines. Le Limozin has beautiful sloping moderately deep land producing long and rich wines. Both Les Criots and Les Crotots are on very rich soil and produce generous slightly buttery wines. All this combined delivers a wine packed with character. Dry, buttery and rounded but with a streak of freshness running through its heart. You'll find honey, dried apricots and a long mellow finish.
