The vineyards are located in the village of Purcari between the Dniester River and the Black Sea with a backdrop of rolling hills making for some beautiful scenery. The winery itself was established in 1827 and today boasts a blend of traditional winemaking and the latest technological advances. This wine is a fusion of the local Rara Neagra variety, which brings intense fresh cherry fruit to the mix whilst the inclusion of Malbec adds depth, concentration and that tell-tale mix of dark berries and rich plum we've all grown to love.
