Bodegas Aquitana is fully focused on quality. The Albariño grape has a wonderful affinity with coastal regions as it takes on that salty sea air. Here, they retain that salinity by a fully 'gravity fed' system in the winery (multiple floors, wine feeds down by gravity, no pumps!). This careful handling of the wine allows it to retain its purity and express its seaside proximity with super fresh citrus fruit and a mild salty hint that matches up ideally with all seafood.

Cayetano heads up the winemaking operation in this coastal winery dug into the hills in Galicia. The wine here benefits from a gravity-fed system where the grapes arrive on the top floor and work their way down throughout the fermentation process without the use of any pumps. This gentle handling shows itself in the final wine as maximum purity and expression of the grape variety.
