Not only does it sound like one of Frank Zappa's children, it also defies an abundance of Sicilian sunshine to retain its essential freshness and verve. Without it, it would be a bit tubby. With it, it delivers a rush of soft, ripe stone fruit and a lovely streak of acidity that makes it mouth-watering.
