We are launching this very exciting new wine from our friends at Capcanes way up high in the Montsant hills, in Tarragona. This was a wine made to be lighter, more expressive and with lots more freshness which gives it an airy feel and makes it go down very, very easily. There are lovely aromatics, of raspberry and cherry, and just a lovely weight of fruit that doesn't over-power or threaten to blow away your taste buds. It is an excellent wine for company and food as a result.

Jurgen Wagner
Jurgen hails from Germany and attended the prestigious Geisenheim University where he studied Oenology. As part of his studies he spent his work placement in Tarragona in Spain where he discovered the village of Capcanes and the wines they produced there. After completing his studies he returned to Spain and started working with Capcanes more closely on the winemaking side and turned to full time winemaking at the winery. Jurgen now works with a small but dedicated team to craft the wines.
