The grapes used in this field blend come from a single vineyard where the vines were planted in 1945. These super old vines, being over 70 years old, only produce a tiny quantity of extremely concentrated juice, which Marcelo and Eduardo use to create this stunning red. It has pronounced aromatics, layered with red and black berry fruit, Mediterranean herbs, a hint of anise and a light smokey note. There's a natural freshness to this wine on the palate despite its bottle age, and the tannins are fine-grained and perfectly ripe.
