Once again Ryno, the winemaker, used his loaf to push Cape wine boundaries and deliver something real-world brilliant (as opposed to something terribly clever, but useless). He has overseen a Sauvignon harvested on several different dates, to deliver a wine bursting with freshness AND possessing a wonderful depth of fruit. It is what you could describe as an elegant Savvie, with plenty of lifted aromatics and a core freshness that makes it good with food too.
