Bodega Fernando de Castilla make seriously expressive wines that are up there with the finest Jerez in Southern Spain has to offer. This 20+ year old single solera release has an intense deep mahogany colour with shades of black. The nose has a depth and complexity that you have to smell to believe. There's coffee, caramel, nuts, dried fruit, the list really could go on and on. The palate, with its amazing sweetness, has a relieving freshness giving the wine wonderful poise and balance.
