A meticulous approach by the winery team, respect for the land, and use the vintage's best grapes makes this an impeccably fashioned wine. Lodai is the symbol, the flagship wine of Tenuta Fertuna. A perfectly constructed blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese that spent 12 months ageing in French oak plus a further 4 months in bottle pre-release. Staying true to the Italian red reputation, it's an ultimate food wine, transforming alongside roasted meat, especially beef, game and mature cheese.

Paolo Rivella

Paolo Rivella is the manager and winemaker at the Fertuna winery. Born in the Chianti Classico region, Paolo comes from a winemaking heritage stretching back to 1850 and his great-grandfather. After training in viticulture and oenology in Sienna, Paolo developed his skills at wineries in the Chianti region. When asked to bring the Fertuna winery project to life, Paolo set his sights on Maremma, specifically the Gavorrano plain. This region has the perfect conditions for growing Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes. Paolo's aim is to use his skill and passion to produce wine which will bring enjoyment and an authentic sip of Tuscany to all who taste it.
