Dragon Hills Pinot Noir has a lovely light red fruited nose that is really rather pretty. There's gentle supporting notes from a little time in oak and a delightfully soft finish. After a few years working closely with one of Romania's leading wineries, Cramele Recas, we're excited to finally list one of their Pinot Noirs, famed for both quality and value! With a history of winemaking dating back 6000 years, (pretty impressive) this is a taste of just how bright a future the wines of Romania have.

This groundbreaking wine estate, Cramele Recas, is a growing source of great value, immensely drinkable wines that will have you as surprised as we were once you discover just how good they are! The Cramele Recas winery, along with its British and Aussie connections, gained a spot on our Wine Buyers' list of "must visit" wineries when recognised with 8 medals at the 2013 International Wine Contest in Bucharest. This is now a very promising addition to our 'off the beaten track' range indeed!
"This is one special dragon. Pretty, red-fruit filled Romanian Pinot Noir crafted by an Aussie who knows exactly what he's doing. Not many reds can cope with spicy Asian cuisine, but chill this dragon down and you have a stunning food match!" Dave Roberts, Wine Buyer.
