This wine is a skilful blend of such grapes as Grenache and Syrah, which find full expression on the elevations of Mont Ventoux. It has both a lovely lifted aspect and a purity from the site's altitude and a more decadent side, a Mediterranean sun-drenched streak, that gives it a lovely density and charm. Together this combination creates harmony and balance in a wine that has very strong echoes of its more illustrious neighbour in the glass.

The Perrin Family
Made by the same Perrin family who own Château Beaucastel - they never compromise on quality, jealously guarding their reputation as one of the world's great, iconic wine producers. The Perrin vineyards are located on the slopes of the dramatic and beautiful Mont Ventoux - a rock that protrudes proudly from the flats of Provence for almost two kilometres. The altitude offers freshness that provides a good acidity level to the grapes. Their wine is therefore fresh, fruity and well balanced.
