We fought good and hard to get this, with our winemaking team in Oz to help us. We have loads of Remington-liked-it-so-much-we-bought-the-company moments and this was one. A wonderful parcel of South Australian Sauvignon Blanc came up, and we bought it all for a knock-off trotter price. Which is not to say the wine isn't awesome. This one is clean as a whistle and has crisp citrus and tropical fruit allure.

This floral, pretty white wine is a perfect expression of this unique variety, and winemaker Stephen Huse adds complexity and texture by adding a small proportion of barrel-aged wine. This gives By The Hand Torrontes subtle hints of toast which complement the citrus and stone fruits that sit at the very core of this wine. In our opinion, there's no better white to pair with Asian-inspired cuisine.
