Dragon Hills Pinot Noir has a lovely light red fruited nose that is really rather pretty. There's gentle supporting notes from a little time in oak and a delightfully soft finish. After a few years working closely with one of Romania's leading wineries, Cramele Recas, we're excited to finally list one of their Pinot Noirs, famed for both quality and value! With a history of winemaking dating back 6000 years, (pretty impressive) this is a taste of just how bright a future the wines of Romania have.

Pizo Garnacha 2023

The Pizo series is all about varietal character. The location of the vineyard, its altitude and the soil type all play an important role in allowing the fruit here to express everything it can and should. The long days of Spanish summer sunshine mean the fruit can gradually but thoroughly ripen. The altitude keeps the temperature in check so there's no chance of over-ripeness. And then there's the slate-rich soils which give the wine a clear and defined structure with a mineral texture to the palate.

Combining perfectly ripe, spicy Shiraz with blackberry and herbal-scented Cabernet Sauvignon has become second nature to the South Australian winemakers. It is a style of wine that simply just works. Steve's winery in the McLaren Vale brings us, once again, a classic Aussie red full of vibrant fruit character.

Billy Bosch Bushvine Cinsault 2022

In its flavour profile, Cinsault (or Hermitage as it was originally known) tastes like a smoky Pinot Noir, and these two varietals are the parent grapes responsible for the creation of South Africa's most revered red grape, Pinotage. From its very terminology, 'dryland' indicates challenging terroir but vines and roots work harder to extract more from the soil. Furthermore, bush vines naturally expel lower yields, which in turn aid the concentration of fruit and ultimately, the wine's intensity. Billy Bosch is highly drinkable with black cherry at its core and subtle floral overtones. To complement its mineral-led backbone, try guinea-fowl and braised kale. This Cinsault is also going to work well with Toulouse sausages and parmentier potatoes.

When you think of a classic Pinot Grigio, you think bright citrus and pear notes paired with a zingy freshness. Vitalita Pinot Grigio is the epitome of this style. Bursting with fresh notes of lemon, lime, pear and a hint of exotic fruit, it is a great example of the easy-going yet sophisticated Pinot Grigio from the Veneto region. It is best enjoyed chilled making it a crisp and refreshing tipple for all occasions.

Trois Calices Essentiel 2023

Here winemaker Eric Lanxade expertly balances perfumed Gros Manseng, Colombard and everyone's favourite; zippy Sauvignon Blanc. It creates the perfect trinity. The vines from which these grapes come are planted on alluvial river plains with minerally, rich soils. These are great for the cultivation of full-flavoured and elegant wines like Trois Calices.

El Zumbido Viura 2023

El Zumbido ('the buzz') is a local nickname for the wind that whistles through the vines up in the hills of Cariñena. This wind is critical to the style of this Viura. Ripened well in the Spanish sun, the grapes develop lovely peach aromas backed up by pear. But it's the El Zumbido that keeps the wine from becoming overripe and sticky, delivering an integral freshness that completes a very moreish wine.
