Savvie is what the locals call Sauvignon Blanc, so we borrowed it for the name of our flagship release. Working with the talented young winemaker, Alex Roper, we've crafted a Marlborough white that is super fresh, fully invigorating and just how we know you like it. The trademark combination of citrus zest, mango, elderflower and freshly cut grass all work in harmony, providing top-class drinking either as an aperitif or to be paired with a big bowl of mussels and a side of skinny fries.

Why have one grape variety when you can have three? Trio is a blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Gros Manseng from the south west of France. And whilst each grape can be beautiful on its own, this blend becomes greater than the sum of its parts. It is a really versatile white which will accompany crisp summer salads, grilled fish and roasted poultry with authority. Enjoy well chilled.

Our Iziza range has been a work in progress for a few vintages now, working with winemakers and growers to single out specific plots within vineyards that deliver the most exceptional fruit. This pure Chenin Blanc focuses on two locations in the super trendy Swartland region. A small 4,000-litre single cuvée was used as the base, a tropical fruity style, very fresh with a bright and crunchy lemon peel finish, which accounted for 80% of the blend. The final 20% came from a wonderful plot of vines in Hartebeesvlei, a creamier style with lemon barley notes, great depth, a touch of natural sweetness, with layers of stone fruit. Alone it was too much, but when paired with other parcel they forged a very strong partnership.

All too often Viognier is just too much. Too intensely aromatic. Too rich. Too alcoholic. But! When you turn it down from 11 and aim for a solid 8 you can really appreciate the flavour profile of this classy grape variety. We don't put anything under our huge 'Black Pig' label unless it really is the cream of the crop, so expect no pulled punches here. This wine bridges the gap between New World fruitiness and Old World elegance. Plenty of stone fruit character with a freshness that belies the warm clime.
