This wine is part of our Two Plus One series, wines that are created as much in the vineyard as they are in the winery. We carefully select parcels of grapes and, once vinified, take something already excellent and amplify it by adding one part of something truly exceptional. This release focuses on Viognier, using a small parcel of wine from the Narbonne area of the Languedoc for the base, which is vibrant and full of fresh apricot fruit, and adding a dash of an oaked parcel that adds weight, structure and richness.

We fought good and hard to get this, with our winemaking team in Oz to help us. We have loads of Remington-liked-it-so-much-we-bought-the-company moments and this was one. A wonderful parcel of South Australian Sauvignon Blanc came up, and we bought it all for a knock-off trotter price. Which is not to say the wine isn't awesome. This one is clean as a whistle and has crisp citrus and tropical fruit allure.

Ca' Vegar Custoza DOC 2022

At its price, this Northern Italian white punches well above its weight. Thanks to scrupulous fruit selection at harvest and careful lees contact during fermentation, you'll be amazed by the depth of flavour, complexity and concentration. Tropical fruit notes underpinned by almonds with a welcome freshness from the vineyard's proximity to the picturesque Lake Garda. A serious wine at a great price.

I have searched and searched for the rosé that I want (selfish I know). That pretty, pale pink, light, tiny-bit-sweet but devastatingly, mouth-wateringly refreshing rosé. And now I've found it. The young Languedoc gun of a winemaker, Jean Marie, may have eyebrows that caterpillars are sexually drawn to, but by 'eck he can make wine. Especially rosé. And I just love it.

Rosé has shaken off whatever stigma it had attached to it from a quality perspective, and through the hard work of winemakers and a few key regions driving modern, lighter, crisper styles we are now almost as spoiled for choice for top-quality rosé as we are with red, whites and fizz! That might sound a little negative, I can assure you it isn't, it's fantastic and we're utterly thrilled with this berry-filled southern French Grenache, and we can't wait for you to try it. Put simply it is refreshment personified.

Perez Cruz Single Vineyard La Higuera Block 2020

The latest stunning creation from Germán and his team, fast becoming Chilean masters of the grape. There is a depth of fruit on the nose with the flavours all playing a black card - blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherries are all distinctly noticeable. With layers of vanilla spice and hints of mint mingle with the delicious, ripe black fruit, it's no wonder this vegan wine is so renowned. Everything is wrapped in a blanket of silky tannins. Echoes of the Bordeaux style, but with the thumping, fruit core only the best New World winemakers can produce.

Finca Manzanos Seleccion de la Familia Rioja 2022

Everything about this wine exudes sheer class. The fruit is hand-harvested using the traditional 'corquetes' (curved knives) and brought to the winery in harvesting baskets. The wine is plump, spicy and distinguished, with notes of raspberry, plum and blackberry, overlaid with hints of vanilla, cocoa and cinnamon-style spice. Youthful yet balanced, it is a classic in the making.

Eghemon Passimiento 2021

This wine really is a great exhibit of craftsmanship. Allowing the Nero d'Avola to wither on the vine before harvest concentrates the sugars and gives the wine a generous fruit richness. Tempered by Frappato picked at its earliest maturation to give the blend a huge whack of freshness. Unique, interesting, but above all else, delicious.
