The team at Fettercairn recently decided that the core range needed a 16 year old expression that had been aged exclusively in bourbon casks. Bottled at 46.4% ABV, this expression is free from chill filtration and maintains its natural colour, offering a pure representation of Fettercairn's tropical fruit focussed flavour profile. Notes of ripe and grilled pineapple mingle with vanilla pod and caramel, leading you onto a bright and engaging palate with fresh baked ginger cake that swings back to that signature tropical-fruit intensity on the long balance finish.
