An ambitious project to build the first English whisky distillery in over a century was finally realised when the stills were lit back in 2006 and the first new make spirit flowed, at the then fledgling Saint George's Distillery, Norfolk. That initial distillation filled some 36 barrels, and the journey was well and truly underway. Now with thousands of barrels in their warehouse (they actually have more than one these days), countless awards, medals and accolades, today they are a leading light in whisky production and have a presence and reputation for producing exceptional drams all over the globe. This bottling comes highly recommended!
