James Nelstroppe had long been an admirer and lover of the world's finest whiskies and in 2005, with his son Andrew, applied for planning permission to build a micro distillery. HMRC got involved and the micro distillery became something much larger and today is one of most well respected distilleries in the UK crafting a range of wonderfully unique and exciting spirits.
