The 2003 bottling from fabled Scotch whisky producer The Dalmore is finessed in Rivesaltes sweet wine casks, bringing a brisk sea air salinity to the flavour profile. A whisky with incredible length and a phenomenal depth of flavour that is bottled at a slightly higher alcoholic strength of 46.9%. This also adds additional weight and power to the flavour without it becoming overbearing. Aromas of manuka honey and dark toffee with a palate that is layered with maple syrup and dark spiced fruit. Absolute nectar!
