This 18-Year-Old release, from the wonderful Fettercairn Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, has been carefully curated by the team using a selection of handpicked first fill and refill ex-Bourbon American white oak casks and then finished in 100% Scottish Oak. The finished whisky is truly unique and has beautiful richness and depth that works in perfect harmony with the distillery's signature tropical fruit led house character.
The Distillery The Distillery
Located in the foothills of Scotland's Cairngorms, the Fettercairn Distillery has access to exceptionally pure water. Not only do they use this as a key ingredient in their whisky making they also use it to cool their copper still whilst in operation, which adds condensation on the inside ensuring only the finest vapours can rise to the top for collection! The development of this process has led to a signature style showing wonderful floral notes with plenty of stone and tropical fruit.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
We recommend you first taste this lovely dram straight, and then again with a small splash of cold water. This slight dilution opens the spirit, bringing out more of the signature tropical fruit flavours and aromas.
