An amazing bottling from a single barrel of whisky we selected during a wider barrel tasting earlier this year. It stood out because of the richness and intensity of its flavour. It is, quite frankly, a very special Speyside whisky from the famous and much followed Linkwood Distillery. Linkwood utilises steam heated stills and run with the belief that all aspects of the distillery contribute to the finished product. A rare offering to purchase a stunning Scotch Whisky that has been aged exclusively in a French Oak Cognac Cask, filled in 2011 and left to mature to perfection.

Having a collection of totally exclusive spirits has been the aim since we launched our spirits portfolio back in July 2019 and over the last few years we've been steadily adding to it. This is the latest addition, and it is a cracking single cask bottling from one of Speyside's most famous and followed distilleries, Linkwood.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
The perfect serve is a measure in a tumbler, but at 57.3% we appreciate that doesn't make for a long evening! So, we'd recommend either adding a block of ice or just a dash of mineral water to bring the alcohol down a touch and really reveal the greater depths of flavour.
