The Spirit The Spirit
Scotland
Region:Highland
Ardmore is one of Scotland's legendary Highland distilleries, located in Aberdeenshire, who have been crafting exceptional whiskies since 1898. Today their succinct range of four expressions are much enjoyed and revered the world over. What we wanted to offer our customers was a carefully selected single barrel from the distillery, bottled at cask strength so that you can enjoy the whisky as if you were in situ at the ageing house. As you can expect, getting out hands on one of these much sought after casks wasn't easy, so we teamed up with Doug McIvor, who runs the prestigious whisky project at BB&R, and set about whittling down the casks to find the right one. We're thrilled to have this bottled exclusively for us and, with just 200 bottles available, we expect it to sell out quickly!
The Project The Project
We're taking our first steps on what we're sure will be an exciting journey for us as much as our customers as we begin building a range of exclusive, small batch bottlings and single cask whisky offerings. They'll be exciting and diverse in style, sourced from the very best distilleries and, as we're new to this, we'll pull on the expertise of our fast-growing number of industry experts to help us get it right and bring you a collection we know you're going to love.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
We've bottled this at cask strength so, when you taste it, you are basically sipping it from the cask in the comfort of your own home. It is then up to you how far you water it down. Serve in a good tumbler with a small jug of ice-cold mineral water on the side.
