This Small Batch release is a wonderful Irish whiskey from the pioneering and progressive team at the Hinch Distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. It has a beautiful light hazel colour in the glass where you are coaxed deeper by the initial aromas of sweet wood and toffee. On the palate, layers of dried fruits combine with fresh citrus notes and a gently lingering caramel undertone. It has been aged exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels and the finished bottling is a joyous, silky smooth Irish dram of impeccable class and character.
