The Glenrothes Distillery has been crafting very fine whisky for over 100 years. Don't expect any fanfare here, apart from what's in the bottle! They are a humble lot who do things in a traditional way where the whisky comes first and everything else follows. This is the 12 year old expression and is aged in old American oak sherry casks that quietly mature in perfect conditions, hidden away near a leafy gorge in Speyside. This is undoubtedly one of the world's finest single malts.
