The Spirit The Spirit

This expression is crafted at the Amrut Distillery in Bangalore using Indian barley which is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the Punjab area. Once the Barley reaches the distillery it is carefully mashed and distilled at an altitude of 900 metres in very small batches followed by long maturations in unique, hot, tropical conditions. The finished whiskies are non-chill filtered to preserve the characteristics that the oak cask impart. Here they use exclusively ex-bourbon barrels.
