- This cracking single malt first matures in first fill Bourbon casks and is finished in very fine sherry casks sourced from Bodegas Baron.
- There's plenty of character to look for and enjoy here with layers of dried fruit sitting majestically on top of lifted spice notes.
- The classic way to enjoy this classy dram is to serve it neat with a dash of water but we found that it makes a darn good whiskey sour too!

Three old school friends, John O'Connell and Cousins Ger McCarthy and Denis McCarthy, set about setting up the West Cork Distillery in 2003. They were looking for a career change and all shared a passion for fine Irish spirits. They acquired two stills, purchased from a schnapps producer in Switzerland and installed them in a back room at Denis McCarthy's house. 17 years on and they are now producing 4.5 million litres of spirit and sell their award-winning products all over the world.
