The Gold Label release from Jonnie Walker, blended by Jim Beveridge, celebrates 200 years of blending, which all began with John Walker in his grocery store in Kilmarnock back in the early part of the 19th century. John passed away in 1857 and left a healthy business to his son Alexander and 10 years later he launched Johnnie Walkers first commercial blend 'Old Highland Whisky'. This release was the building block for what today is one of the world's great drinks brands.
