Kavka is a wonderful Polish vodka that is inspired by traditional Polish production methods that date back to the 18th century. It is a classy spirit that has plenty of complexity and is a real point of difference within this often quite uninspiring category. It is distilled and bottled in Poland and crafted from a blend of fine Rye and Wheat spirits. The intrigue and complexity are created by the addition of small quantities of aged, pot still fruit spirits (plum and apple). These are made by a small artisanal distiller in the east of Poland who has sourced traditional fruit varietals that give this plain vodka layers of wonderful intensity and flavour.
