By using expressive high-end sherry wines, rather than basic table wine, for the creation of their vermut, Lustau have crafted a wonderfully complex drink that is full of character and energy. This red vermut is a blend of eight year old amontillado which brings nutty and smoked wood aromas to the blend and a portion of Pedro Ximenez adds sweetness, richness, figs and raisin notes. Already loaded with flavour, the blend is then steeped with a selection of botanicals to add even more intense flavours.
