A top-class sipping rum blended from some of Cuba's finest barrels that have long been resting in the traditional ageing houses of the Vigia stable. The blend was put together by their master blender (Ron Maestro) and such a blend has traditionally only found its way into the hands of visiting dignitaries and never released to those outside of Cuba before. A joint venture between the Island Rum Company and the Cuban government has made this possible. Cuba is the spiritual home of rum and its unique, drier styles are utterly delicious. La Progresiva is perfectly balanced with layers of spice and plenty of oak influence from 13 years resting.
