Brugal Anejo is a 5 year old rum that ages in hand-picked old bourbon casks. The heat of the sun is a key factor in the ageing process and the maturation house at Brugal is positioned north to south, to ensure every last ray of sun available is captured each and every day. Over time the exposure to the suns natural warmth turns their rums a wonderful golden colour, softens them and helps develop delicious honeyed caramel and dried fruit notes.
