We'd encourage you to have a play with your mixers here. The flavours of this rum are so assertive that you won't find a mixer firm enough in flavour to drown the rum. We had success with the traditional dark, fruity sparkling soft drinks, however one of our favourites was a generous portion poured over a tumbler full to the top of cubed ice topped off with a wedge of lime, squeezed over the glass before the plunge.
